In my search for a Lab pup, I spoke to several breeders. One day, I received a call that there was 1 female chocolate Labrador puppy still available at Buckeye Valley Labradors in Ohio. After having a great conversation with Miranda, I felt very lucky (and excited!) to have the opportunity to be a forever home to a pup from their very first litter!
Miranda was wonderful and answered all of my MANY questions. She kept everyone updated on Facebook with multiple pictures and video of the puppies. Once we found out we were getting the Orange Collar pup, my kids and I enjoyed going back through them and finding our girl. Deciding on a name was tough. Finally, a few days before going to pick her up, we decided on Luna. My oldest son and I drove to get her and the adventure began.
From day 1, Luna proved she was the spunky, energetic and fun puppy we were hoping for. She romped into our lives and filled us all with her puppy energy and love. Luna took to her crate very quickly and learned basic commands with ease. As she's matured, Luna has learned our routines and adjusts easily to change. She really enjoys playing chase and tug with our son Jack and we enjoy it because it tires her out! She has filled a void that was empty after putting our girl Nola down in 2019. Luna is a beautiful girl and one of my favorite features are the wavy ripples of fur down her back. We love Luna so much and look forward to having her grow with our family for years to come. After one conversation with Miranda, I instantly knew she loved her animals like we do and knew them each well. Working with Buckeye Valley Labradors (BVL) was nothing short of exceptional. Miranda took time to go above and beyond throughout every aspect of the experience. After doing much research, I knew that I wanted our puppy to come from Buckeye Valley Labradors after the first time I spoke with Miranda. I felt that she was very conscientious and thorough in her breeding protocols and also incredibly loving. She sent me regular updates and pictures as the litter matured and we were able to select our “Georgie girl“ based on her temperament and the type of pup we wanted. I know it was as important to Miranda as it was to us to get a great match! It made us feel so good to know how much love Georgie got from everyone at her first home until she came home with us to ours. She stole the hearts of everyone who met her as “the cutest puppy ever“ and is quickly becoming the regal-looking beauty indicative of her bloodline. Georgie is healthy, sweet, smart, snuggly, and a big “doof” that we love to pieces.

She provided us with so much information prior to bringing Georgie home, sent loads home with her, and is still always available to answer questions or offer advice.
